PAINTING

Painting is part of my daily schedule. I enjoy handling the brush because of its authentic capacity to rapidly transform a pure white surface of paper into immediate expression.

The light transparencies of watercolours contrast with the unctuous quality of oils, sometimes applied thickly with a palette knife. 

These different techniques open the range of choices of subjects/ motifs : abstract compositions, landscapes and seascapes revisited within the studio.
