My choice of various materials allows me to explore other creative possibilities :

 

I like the warm presence of wood, its grain and density. To marry it with Cathedral glass enhances their respective qualities. The sculptures possess an architectural aspect which suggests towers or monumental doors.

 

The bronzes were either poured in a Paris foundry in the traditional manner or 

in a semi-industrial factory specializing in sand casting.

 

For the sculptures in concrete, which weigh approximately 20 to 50  pounds, I used a method which combines casting and modelling. Each has a specific patina composed of lime, cement, resin and pigments.
